Collaboration news
A couple of weeks ago I received an email out of the blue which made me very excited.
It was from Laura, a designer at MKB Designs - a bathroom and kitchen designers based in the beautiful Thameside town of Marlow in Buckinghamshire.
They had been talking about presenting a personalised chopping board to each of their kitchen customers and had found me via my Instagram account.
After a swift investigation of their beautiful Instagram page, I was very impressed and I responded "Of course I would love to meet you!"
I particularly loved this pink sink!
Laura sent me their logo and I set to work creating a few examples to take to our meeting.
I made a large engraving and a smaller one on a solid oak chopping board. They came out beautifully.
Fast forward to the day of our meeting.
I met with Laura and Nic, (one of the company Directors) in their stunning showroom in Marlow.
I instantly warmed to them, both are extremely welcoming and friendly, they are so enthusiastic about their work and you can tell that they have a real passion for design and creating beautiful yet functional spaces for their clients.
After a few moments spent marvelling at the beauty of the granite worktops on show and drooling over the top of the range ovens, I showed them the samples I had created and a video of how I they were made.
They loved them!
We discussed prices, came to an agreement and that's it. A very cool collaboration was born!
I love MKB Designs work, and their ethos and I am proud to align my brand with theirs.
Here's to a long and enjoyable working relationship between our two brands!
