COUNTDOWN TO CHRISTMAS – There’s always less time than you think!
Are you already noticing the C-word popping up everywhere? Whether it’s chat about your office Christmas party, arranging get togethers or the adverts and posters going up around town and in the shops.
As a gift-making business owner and a mum, this is the onset of my busiest time of the year and I like to embrace it in every way… However, it does mean that I have to get my house in order and be super-organised! You certainly won’t find me doing last minute shopping in December… that’s when I’m working around the clock in my Maidenhead workshop making gifts for my lovely customers!

When we countdown to Christmas we usually count down to the big day (which is 9 weeks off, by the way). But if you have little children, you’ll know that the excitement of Christmas starts WAY before that.
There are less than 6 weeks until we open the first doors on our Advent calendars and welcome the elf back to our shelf. Kids love counting down the days until 24th of December… although as parents it can be a (sometimes stressful) reminder of how much we still have left to do.
