What are you getting for Dad this year? 

Me: “What do you want for Father’s Day?” 

Him: “Oh, nothing…” 

Sound familiar? Yes, it's almost the day you get to celebrate just how amazing your husband/ dad truly is. The problem is that they are notoriously hard to buy for... 

I have to be honest, the idea of trawling around the shops on a Saturday afternoon with the kids in tow, trying desperately to find an appropriately lovely gift fills me with dread. The parking, the crowds, the weather, dealing with requests for constant snacks and the ‘can I have…’ questions…  Not only that, but many of us also have to find a present for our own dads who are equally non-specific about what they’d like to receive.

Don’t get me wrong, I want to make an effort, but what happens is that I get stressy and procrastinate, delaying the inevitable shopping trip until the very last minute.
